The Noodler's Ink Piston Fill flex nib fountain pens are a classic 1960s design made from a celluloid/organic derivative. Each pen uses a piston-filling mechanism and is made of the same material used in most high end piston filling pens of today which is a type of nylon. This pen accepts bottled ink only and is fitted with a special auto-vent flex nib that can go from a hairline to 1.5mm stroke on paper using slight hand pressure to spread the tines of the nib. Definitely a great value considering the low cost to own a flex nib fountain pen.
